New users
Remember “everything happens somewhere”. Any individual or organisation that uses location data, such as customer addresses, park maintenance schedules, protected species and habitat records or crime statistics can benefit from using GIS.
QGIS is such capable software that by the end of a training session with us we will have you opening, styling, editing and printing your mapping information in a way that you will understand long after the training is over.
QGIS is the leading Open Source desktop GIS, supported by a large, growing community driven group of users and software developers each with a shared vision of enabling GIS to be used by anyone. It’s a user friendly product with no licencing costs and is increasingly used by a broad base of users from voluntary groups to large public and private sector organisations.
A “normal” QGIS training session will last up to 6 hours on site (or you can come over to us if you prefer) and will include all data and learning materials for you to take away and go through again at your own pace long after the training is over.
Existing users
We can help existing users who already have GIS skills either in QGIS or a different platform such as MapInfo or ArcMap and want to focus on a specific area such as improve SQL skills, Remote Sensing knowledge or link and query data in a spatial database.
It may be that you want to concentrate on a particular dataset such as LiDAR or start exploring the wealth of Open Data that exist out there.
Whetever your training need we would love to hear from you so please get in touch.
